Our first pastel de nata stop at the iconic Pastéis de Belém, where it all began in 1837. The pastry was warm, flaky, and beautifully caramelised on top. But I have to say, it leaned a little too sweet for my taste. Still, it’s a must-visit just for the history and atmosphere. One down, many more to try. Let’s see which pastel wins our hearts (and palate)!
