Praça do Comércio

We arrived in Lisbon just as the sky began its soft descent into dusk - pastel pinks melting into deepening blues over Praça do Comércio. There is something about a sunset on your last night that feels like a quiet farewell.

From the moment we landed in Lisbon and stood before the grand monuments of Belém, to wandering the fairytale palaces of Sintra, and tracing our way north to Porto’s tiled façades and soulful streets, this trip unfolded like a love letter to Portugal. Even the full-day power outage in Porto could not dim the experience. Then came Douro, where every bend in the road gave us views that looked like oil paintings, and wines that tasted of centuries. We ended where we began, in Lisbon, this time with a deeper connection to the country, and heavier hearts knowing it was our last sunset here. A trip filled with little surprises, plenty of food and wine, and the quiet joy of travelling together. This journey will stay with us, long after we have gone home.

Portugal, you’ve been unforgettable.
