When I couldn't make up my mind what to eat in my hood, this Bak Chor Mee stall located at the junction of Seng Poh Road and Eng Watt Street would be one of my top choices.
All the ingredients (fresh prawns, pork slices, minced pork, pork ball, Teochew dumplings and braised mushroom) are very fresh and well marinated. The noodle is tossed with a well-balanced sauce mixture of lard, black vinegar and chilli.
Humble food, simple pleasures!
