Hidden in the old Bukit Ho Swee housing estate, this eatery serves above-average local Tze-Char dishes at an affordable price.
We have the fried garlic pork which is one of chef's signature dishes. Bite-size pork belly is first deep-fried with lots of whole garlic bulbs and then stir-fried in fiery wok and drizzled with kind-of sweet sauce. Quite shiok.
The oyster omelette arrives on a sizzling hot plate with a sizzling sound and flavourful aroma. Finish this fast if you do not want the oysters to be overcooked though.
I would love to try more but with just the two of us, the plan is to come back again for more of their other dishes.
