Navigating the gastronomic maze of Margret Drive Hawker Centre, I stumbled upon a stall on the second floor that sells an array of local dishes - Nasi Lemak, Porridge, Fried Kway Teow etc. Taking a suggestion from the lady at the stall, I ventured into their plate of wet-style fried Hokkien Mee. The noodles was braised to absorb the rich broth. The plate comes with a generous bounty of prawns, squid, pork belly, and slices of fish cake. I wouldn't declare it the 'Crowned Jewel of Hokkien Mee', but it certainly shines bright in its own right. For those seeking a hearty plate of local flavours, this is a spot you shouldn't miss on your next hawker centre adventure.
