First winery stop in Alsace was at Domaine Antoine Ehrhart. We had arranged a tasting with Caroline before the trip, but honestly, we did not expect it to turn into an epic masterclass. She brought out almost their entire range of 20 over wines! From crisp Rieslings to complex Grand Cru Gewürztraminers, each sip was a deep dive into Alsace’s diverse terroir.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting session especially the Grand Crus, which stood out for their depth and character. By the end of the session, saying no was impossible. We left with a few crates of their wines - Alsace memories bottled and packed. It turns out the hardest part was not choosing the wines, but figuring out how to fit them into the boot of our car.
