First morning in Frankfurt and we found ourselves wandering into The Kleinmarkthalle. For us, local markets are must-visits for every city we visit. They always give us the best glimpse into local life. Rows of vibrant vegetables, the scent of fresh bread, and counters packed with cheese, charcuterie and olives - our kind of place.

We did not go full breakfast mode as we had a café stop lined up after, but we nibbled just enough - some warm pastries, cheese samples, and espresso shots to kickstart the day. Always something comforting about being in a food market, no matter which part of the world we are in. It sets the tone, slow down, savour, and soak in the spirit of the city.
