After exploring the vibrant façades and intricate interiors of Pena Palace, we took our time descending through Parque da Pena. The park was like a fairytale forest - lush, tranquil, and bathed in golden morning light. Every turn revealed another postcard scene with moss-covered rocks, ivy-draped trees, and a carriage rolling past as if we had stepped back in time. It felt less like a garden and more like nature’s own museum. Peaceful, refreshing, and a perfect contrast to the palace’s flamboyant flair. Definitely worth taking the slow way down.
