Porto Cathedral
Porto Cathedral took our breath away - quite literally, after the climb! One of the oldest and most iconic landmarks in the city, its imposing Gothic facade gave way to a peaceful cloister adorned with the most intricate blue-and-white azulejo tiles we had seen. We took our time wandering through the arches, soaking in the light, the silence, and the craftsmanship.
But what really made it unforgettable was the view. From the terrace, Porto sprawled before us in layers - red rooftops, the winding Douro River, Clerigos Church piercing the skyline, and even a glimpse of the Dom Luis I Bridge. It felt like standing in the heart of history with the entire city at our feet.
This was not just a photo stop, it was a moment to pause, reflect, and admire a city that truly knows how to blend the sacred, the scenic, and the sublime. A must-visit, no debate.
