Tucked between rolling vineyards and medieval ramparts, Riquewihr is a vibrant mix of colours, textures, and history. Half-timbered houses in candy colours, cobbled streets, hanging flower baskets - it’s as if the entire place was painted by an artist in love with summer.

We wandered aimlessly, popping into charming boutiques, admiring quirky signs, and sampling local treats. It was easy to imagine this same street centuries ago, minus the gelato shops and camera clicks.

Riquewihr may be small, but it is full of characters. I left with my camera full and heart fuller.
