Following the lunch recommendation from the people of Bodegas Vinícola Real, our culinary quest led us to the charming Asador Sidrería Palacios - a Spanish Grill restaurant that promised an exceptional dining experience.
As we settled into the warm and inviting atmosphere, our taste buds danced with anticipation. The highlight of our meal was the magnificent T-Bone steak which was first grilled on charcoal Asador and then skillfully carved by the chef into smaller pieces. The tender, succulent meat was then served together with a sizzling hot plate, inviting us to continue the grilling experience right at our table.
With great enthusiasm, we eagerly took up the opportunity to personally cook our prized T-Bone pieces on the hot plate. The sizzle and aroma filled the air, heightening our anticipation for the feast that awaited us. Each bite revealed a symphony of flavours, from the perfectly seared exterior to the juicy, melt-in-your-mouth interior.
As dish after dish arrived, showcasing traditional Spanish delicacies and an array of grilled delights, we realized that we were facing an epic culinary challenge. Despite our valiant efforts to indulge in every bite, we simply could not conquer the vast feast before us.
Acknowledging the delicious defeat, we made the decision to savour the moment and pack the remaining food. With the help of the attentive staff, we carefully prepared our leftovers, knowing that they would provide an equally delightful experience later.
And yes, we skipped dinner.
