Bern, Switzerland

We spent the morning in Bern, Switzerland’s charming capital. Walking through the old town felt like stepping back in time with cobbled streets, arcades, and the famous Zytglogge clock watching over us. Trams and bicycles weaved through the city, blending history with everyday life.

The Federal Palace stood proud with its green dome, a symbol of Swiss democracy. Just nearby, fountains danced in the square, children laughed, and people enjoyed the sunshine. The streets were lined with flags, adding splashes of colour against the old stone buildings.

From the Rosengarten, we had the most beautiful view of Bern - the terracotta rooftops, church spires, and the turquoise Aare River curling gently around the city. It was peaceful, yet full of life.

Bern is not a city that shouts for attention. Instead, it draws you in quietly, like a place you could fall in love with slowly but deeply.
