La Pêcherie
At Restaurant La Pêcherie in Rouen, a feast for the senses awaited us. The centrepiece, a magnificent seafood platter, was a cold, briny bounty from the sea - oysters, whelks, periwinkles, shrimps, langoustines, and crab, all begging to be savoured with a spritz of lemon and dips of aioli and shallot vinaigrette. The mains, including the local beef steak, that followed were masterclass in preparation, cooked to succulent perfection. Truly one of the most memorable meals of our journey!
