Check out what we had - Garlicky and peppery Teochew-style Bah Kut Teh soup with tender 龙骨 prime ribs ($14) and braised pork trotter ($7.50) along with other side dishes like braised cabbage ($3.70) and bean curd skin ($3.70). Every dish was well executed and so perfect with the plain steamed rice and the strongly brewed 铁观音 Chinese tea ($5).
What a great feeling catching up on life with such delicious old-school taste along nostalgic Tiong Bahru Five-foot-way on this rainy day.
