Uptown Nasi Lemak

Fans of Nasi Lemak, especially Malaysian-style Ayam Goreng Nasi Lemak, would love this!

The star of this Nasi Lemak is their very well-seasoned Ayam Goreng Berempah. The freshly fried chicken maryland is crispy outside, warm and juicy inside and incredibly flavour-packed. Eaten with the fragrant coconut rice, fried anchovies/peanuts, half hard-boiled egg and sweet spicy sambal chili, this is a simple yet very satisfying meal.

Personally, I enjoy this fried chicken leg more than the fried boneless chicken thigh from the other more famed Malaysian-style Dickson Nasi Lemak at Joo Chiat. But Dickson's much spicier sambal chili is still da bomb!

Come early to beat the long queue during lunch time.
