Armenor, located on the bustling Purvis Street, beckons food enthusiasts with its casual and contemporary take on classic European cuisine. This family-friendly restaurant offers a delightful menu infused with modern twists, all at an accessible price point. Their weekday lunch specials are particularly enticing, featuring a 2-course meal for just $19.90 or a 3-course feast for $22.90.
To kick off our culinary journey, we indulged in the roasted tomato soup, perfectly complemented by toasted bread.
For the main course, we each opted for a different tantalizing option. The mushroom risotto delighted our taste buds with its earthy king oyster mushrooms, shaved parmesan, and creamy mascarpone. The maple mustard roasted pork collar, served with fluffy mashed potatoes, mesclun salad, and a tangy mustard sauce, proved to be a flavourful delight. The more indulgent choice was the Black Angus Sirloin Steak (+$7), accompanied by truffle fries, mesclun salad, and a rich red wine sauce.
To end our meal on a sweet note, we savoured the exquisite desserts. The Banana Foster, featuring sliced bananas drenched in dark rum and served with velvety vanilla gelato, was a true indulgence. The Crepes Suzette delighted our palates with its orange-infused crepes, luscious orange sauce, and a side of delightful vanilla gelato. And who could resist the tantalizing Lemon Tart, filled with a refreshing lemon mousse and adorned with a delicate meringue topping?
Armenor also offers some attractive promotions to enhance the dining experience. Wine enthusiasts will appreciate the corkage fee waiver on Mondays for BYOB, allowing guests to savour their preferred wines.
