It has been a while since we last dined in the vibrant yet charming Keong Siak hood. After checking out their latest F&B concept at Club Street Wine Bar, we thought we should reconnect with Butcher Boy, one of Cure Concept Group's earlier ventures.
With a huge Asian influence, the dishes range from light snacks like Nachos with salmon and ikura to more substantial offerings of grilled meat and seafood.
There is also a separate “Baos, buns and dumplings” section on the menu with dishes like Peking Pork Bao, chicken and prawn laksa dumpling and chili crabs with mantou.
The dimly lit restaurant has an intimate open layout composing of a bar and communal high-top tables. The cosiness makes it ideal for catching up with pals or getting to know a date. Even lone diners will have an enjoyable time too. The flowing atmosphere, coupled with the sharing-style plates and cocktail drinks encourages mingling and sparking up conversations for a great night out.
