Frankfurt City Centre
After breakfast, we made our way to Frankfurt Cathedral, its towering spire cutting through the clear blue sky. The gothic architecture was striking from every angle, but it was the peaceful interior that made us pause, those soaring red sandstone columns and filtered light created a quiet kind of beauty.
Outside, we stumbled upon a group singing in front of the entrance. No fanfare, just pure voices echoing against centuries-old stone. It added an unexpected charm to the morning.
We had some fun snapping portraits of one another before heading to Römerberg. The square was buzzing with life, surrounded by quaint timbered houses and curious travellers. It is easy to see why this is the heart of the old town - history, colour, and energy all in one place.
