This is THE place if you are mad about pork liver in your Bak Chor Mee (BCM). The dry version of the liver is nothing short of a culinary marvel - perfectly blanched tender liver slices tossed with lard, chilli, and just the right zing of vinegar. Crunchy bean sprouts? Check. Crispy pork lard and garlic chips with a sprinkle of spring onions? Double check!
But wait, there’s more! The BCM comes with a bowl of soul-satisfying soup, loaded with more pork liver, lean pork slices, minced pork and fish cake. Robust is an understatement!
Don't let the seemingly quiet stall fool you. No queue doesn't mean no crowd! There is no queue because customers are practically on the edge of their seats, clutching buzzers and counting down like it’s New Year’s Eve! The wait might be 45 minutes to an hour during peak lunchtime but it is worth every second if you are as infatuated with their pork liver and BCM as I am.
