Shanghai La Mian Xiao Long Bao
There is no shortage of restaurants and eateries offering good Xiao Long Bao (XLB) and La Mian in Singapore but this hawker stall at Alexandra Village Food Centre not too far from my hood is where I would go for my XLB and other North China dishes fix.
Chef Zhang, from China Nan Jing, has been operating the stall with his wife for more than 10 years now, building a reputation for his quality food and a regular customer base.
Here the XLB and other dumplings are handmade daily at the stall to cater to the busy crowd especially during lunch time.
Their noodle dishes, such as Sichuan Dan Dan Mian and Sour Spicy noodle, are worth checking out too.
