béni

Awarded one Michelin star every year since 2016 (except 2020 when the Michelin Guide was cancelled due to the pandemic), Executive Chef Kenji Yamanaka and his team at béni have been expressing his personal culinary journey and philosophy through artistic tasting menus that gracefully blends French and Japanese flavours and ingredients while adhering carefully to the seasons.

Located at level 2 of Mandarin Gallery, the restaurant's design concept is anchored by a semi-open kitchen with a 8-seater counter. Most of the “heavy cooking” is done away from the diners’ view in the inner kitchen, but the culinary team does the plating and final touches of dishes in front of diners for visual entertainment. If you prefer more privacy, there are 2 dining rooms that can seat up to 16 guests.

You could tell that the Chef pays close attention to the smallest details by the way the food are presented while allowing his background, characteristics and culinary skills to come through via the dishes.

Ask the sommelier for wine and sake pairing recommendation to complete the gastronomical experience.
