On this trip to Johor Bahru, I finally made it to Hai Kah Lang, a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. The place was buzzing with energy, and its rustic charm, complete with a thatched roof and cosy, modern touches, set the stage for a good meal.
Their signature seafood noodles were the highlight, with fresh crabs, prawns, squid, clams, and fish slices immersed in a rich, milky broth that was both comforting and flavourful. The fried fish was golden, crispy, and perfectly complemented by a tangy, spicy dip.
The bustling vibe, filled with families and friends enjoying bowls of hearty goodness, made the experience even more special.
