As we hopped from bar to bar, we laughed, we ate, we drank and we celebrated. It was an unforgettable night and we left the Tapas Street of San Sebastián with full bellies and a deeper appreciation for the Basque culture.
To be honest, the food here was really just junk bar food, nothing fanciful. But with the continuous flow of Sangría, Spanish draft beer, Rioja wine and a great company, I could not have asked for a finer start to this memorable trip to celebrate my 50th birthday.
